3 Simple Solutions to Remove the Dog Pee Odor from Your Carpet

  • Use few drops of club soda or just sprinkle it on the spot where you can find your dog pee or urine.

  • Use a sponge to remove the club soda liquid along with your dog urine. Do not scrub or rub it, because it will only spread the dog pee. You need to dab it to absorb the liquid.

  • Now, use the clean cloth or paper towel to dry the area. Make sure you remove all the liquid and moisture, to completely remove the smell as well as prevent the mold to grow on that location.

Vinegar + Baking Soda

  • Make a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1).

  • Wait for at least 10 minutes.

  • Wait for 15 minutes.

Peroxide + Detergent

  • Make vinegar + water (1:1) mixture and sprinkle the mixture on the area,

  • Make a solution of peroxide and detergent. Mix half cup of peroxide and one tablespoon of detergent. Make sure you use 3% peroxide, so it won’t damage your carpet.

  • Spray the solution on the area, where you sprinkle the baking soda. Use a soft brush to clean the area.

  • Let it dry and use a vacuum cleaner to clean the remaining baking soda.
