This is how to get sticker residue off glass, first what you want to do with any bottles or jars, you have is you want to soak them in a sink with hot or warm water overnight, and it should just peel right off, and then for any leftover residue or if it’s a product that you can’t soak overnight like a toy or electronic item.

That has leftover glue from a UPC label or price tag that you took off you want to use oil. I’m using canola oil, you can use vegetable oil or any other oil, that you have on hand and what you want to do is put some on a paper towel and rub the area with the glue, and you don’t just want to put it on and then try to scrub it off, you want to continue to rub it off with the paper towel, because that’s actually the step that removes it is the paper towel and just keeps going till you think, it’s off and once it looks good.

You’ll scrub it with a scouring pad or sponge with some hot soapy water, no it’s good to dry it off and there it is Oh Margo if it doesn’t come off on the first try, just reapply some oil to your paper towel and do it a second time. I’ve had glue that didn’t come off till a third time but it usually comes off the first or second and it’s that easy. I’m gonna put about two tablespoons in their teaspoon sorry two teaspoons and you need to get some baking soda, now I’ve got a big bag of baking soda because I don’t just use it for cooking. I used it for crafting that today too, so it’s roughly 1/2 1/2 parts baking soda, make a little paste baking powder, baking soda and then spread it all over where the label is and what you need to do is leave it for about 10 to 15 or 20 minutes, and then we’ll come back to it, don’t listen up there as well.

I’m going to spread it all over and then leave it, and then we’ll come back to it and I’ll show you how easily this comes off and then you can go and check out my other crafts and see what lovely things. I like to make with recycled jars ok I’m back to ten minutes later I’ve left my paste on for about 10 minutes and out look we use my finger and give it a little wipe and even just with my finger you can already see it coming off now.

If we use a sponge it’s coming off really easily now. I’m gonna go away to the sink and you know you have some water on the side whilst. I keep washing this but look that’s coming off finally, so those are this a craft basic how to prep your glass jar for crafting and get that horrible stickiness off and some jars are easier to do than others.

I have to say in which case you do need to give it a little scrub but this baking soda and oil really work super duper well and here we go here’s the finish are all clean smooth no stickiness at the top higher they’re brilliant ready to get crafty anyway.
